Geotechnical and Hydrogeologic Services:

Many projects, including multi-family housing, commercial enterprises, public water supply development and regional planning require a detailed understanding of the types of soils present at a property. Knowledge of subsurface geologic conditions and site-specific hydrogeology is integral to develop a site in an economical and environmentally responsible manner. This site analysis work includes load bearing analysis of soils, suitability analysis for drainage and grading, and detailed aquifer characterization.

Our staff of professional geologists and soil evaluators establish the appropriate use and limitations of soils through qualitative field-testing and laboratory analysis.  Our staff of geologists and hydrogeologists conduct subsurface mapping to evaluate formation competency, depositional environments and stratigraphy to evaluate groundwater flow and aquifer characteristics. This work includes pump testing and solute transport modeling to establish potential impacts to residents and environmental receptors.
